Customization, clarified

The board model, the change list, your target quantity and any compliance needs (CE, FCC, RoHS, medical). A sketch or pinout drawing speeds things up. We scope the change list at the quote stage — no commitment required to start the conversation.

Where the board design allows it — pinout, serial defaults, GPIO mapping and connector selection are the common changes. Structural changes, like a new board shape or a new chipset, go through a design review as a custom hardware project with prototypes and verification.

BIOS work is scoped per change in the quotation. Boot logo and default-settings changes are small items that ride along with production; watchdog, serial console and panel timing work is confirmed with its own schedule before we start.

Both. Besides motherboards we deliver embedded computers — board, heatsink, enclosure and system integration — and industrial panels. Tell us the mounting constraints and the environment and we’ll propose a unit around the board you need.

A customized standard board keeps the proven layout and the standard lead time — BIOS, I/O, branding and protection changes. A custom board means new hardware design: new layout, new components, prototypes and a longer development cycle.
