Why 146×102

The full-I/O SBC

  • Six serial channels: COM1/2 are BIOS-switchable between RS232, RS485 and RS422 on the RP7003AW and UT1003AW — drives, scales, barcode engines and PLCs connect without USB dongles.
  • Multi-LAN density: dual Intel i226-V 2.5G comes standard on three models; the AD743AW goes further with three RJ45 ports and 15W PoE on two of them.
  • Wide power, clean rails: all four boards accept DC 9–36V, so a 24V plant bus or a 12V battery feeds them directly with no converter between the supply and the board.
  • DDR5 headroom: up to 96 GB on the RP7003AW and UT1003AW keeps machine-vision buffers and plant-floor virtualization resident in memory.

Questions

3.5-inch SBC, answered

On the RP7003AW and UT1003AW, COM1/2 switch between RS232, RS485 and RS422 in BIOS; the other four stay RS232. The AD743AW keeps COM1/2 at RS232 by default with RS485/RS422 selectable, and the MSK-TL5003AW carries five COM plus a CAN header. Tell us your mix and we’ll confirm the jumper set.

Three Intel i226-V ports, with LAN2/LAN3 able to source 15W PoE each — enough to daisy-chain gateways or power access cameras and readers without injectors. A B-Key slot with SIM adds 4G/5G as a failover link on the same board.

Yes — most plant and vehicle rails run 12V or 24V, and both sag under load. Wide input means the board tolerates those dips instead of resetting, and you skip a separate buck converter in the cabinet. The RP7003AW is rated at 120W, the MSK-TL5003AW at 90W.
