Selection Logic
Three questions, then a shortlist
Start with temperature and power. −20 to +60°C operating and 9–36V DC input cover most of the range; hot cabinets and unregulated vehicle power narrow it to the models built for those margins.
CPU class follows the task, not the other way around: fanless N-series for gateways and players, Core Ultra for vision and inference, LGA1700 desktop parts where raw compute is the requirement.
Count the interfaces before you pick the board — COM ports, LAN, M.2 keys, LVDS panels — then confirm supply. Every model is designed for long product life, with a multi-year supply intent we put in writing per project.
