Why ITX660B
Four reasons to keep the socket
Socket
Change the CPU, not the board
LGA1700 accepts 12th, 13th-S and 14th Gen Core at 65W — swap SKUs on the bench or in the field, EFI BIOS, no BGA rework.
Display
Four outputs, 8K ceiling
2× HDMI 2.1 at 4096×2160 plus 2× DP 1.4 at 7680×4320, all at 60Hz; any three with H610, any four with Q670 — synced or independent.
Expansion
A real x16 slot
PCIe 4.0 x16 for frame grabbers, capture cards or accelerators — the slot most compact boards drop — plus M.2 E-Key WiFi/BT.
Industrial I/O
Dual LAN, four COM
Intel i219-LM + i226-V pairing, COM1/2 RS232/485 selectable, 8-bit GPIO and optional TPM 2.0 for control-room duty.

Where It Fits
Terminals, kiosks and acquisition racks
The ITX660B earns its slot where one board has to drive user-facing screens and talk to field devices at the same time. Typical deployments:
- Self-service kiosks: multiple display outputs for user-facing and maintenance screens, with the second LAN separating the payment network from remote management.
- Data acquisition: 4× COM with RS232/485 on COM1/2 plus 8-bit GPIO for meter-style field devices — no external USB converters.
- Inspection benches: the PCIe 4.0 x16 slot carries a frame grabber, while eDP or LVDS reaches the operator panel.
