Why PDM-5110
Four things the port list doesn’t say
The rear panel tells you the count — these are the consequences that matter when the board is inside a product.
Display
Three 4K streams
Mini-DP, HDMI 2.0 and Type-C (DP alt mode) all run 4096×2160@60Hz — plus LVDS or eDP for the embedded panel, selected in BIOS.
Network
Dual i226-V 2.5G
Two Intel ports for teaming or traffic isolation, with an M.2 E-Key slot carrying WiFi or BT on the same board.
Input
DC 12–24V native
One PDM-5110 spans a 12V vehicle rail and a 24V cabinet supply — no DC-DC card in between, and 60W covers the i3-N305 peak.
Platform
Six CPU options
N97 to i3-N305 with TDP from 6W (N150) to 15W — size the thermal budget to the workload, not the other way around.

Where It Fits
Smart medical and monitoring devices
The PDM-5110 carries the most display and network capacity in the 2.5-inch line, which is exactly what terminal-style products ask for. Typical deployments:
- Smart medical: compact ward and clinic terminals running dashboards beside instruments — triple display out for trend screens, serial ports for lab devices, and a soldered-memory board that stays put in transit.
- Environmental monitoring: dual 2.5G LAN keeps the data stream on one port and management on the other, while the PoE PSE header and DC 12–24V input line up with solar and utility rails.
- Industrial tablets & commercial equipment: LVDS or eDP panel out from BIOS, Type-C as a service port, and a CPU ladder from 6W to 15W to match the enclosure’s cooling.
